In 2020, we were approached by a company commissioned by Channel 4 to participate in Lose Weight Like Me. Our role was to provide clinical guidance on obesity, nutrition and sustainable weight management.

Alex Neilan, UK Registered Dietitian

MSc, PgDIP, PgDIP, BSc (Hons)
My name is Alex, and I lead a healthcare‑aligned, empathy‑driven team of Dietitians, Nutritionists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Personal Trainers and Behaviour‑Change Coaches who specialise in the clinical management of obesity and long‑term weight change.

Over the last 23 years, we’ve helped more than 5,000 women improve their health, mobility and independence through clinician‑designed, evidence‑based care pathways.

Let’s be clear from the start: There are no shortcuts, metabolism “hacks”, magic pills or miracle drinks. The only proven method to improve metabolic health is a structured, progressive resistance‑training routine, paired with a personalised care plan.

If you’ve struggled to put yourself first… If you want to protect your mobility, independence and long‑term health… If you want to feel confident travelling, working, parenting or simply living… This may be the most important message you read this year.
Why our approach works

Once you reach menopause, hormonal changes make weight management harder. Plateaus become more common. Regain becomes more likely. And the cycle continues.

That’s why you need an evidence‑based, clinically overseen toolkit — not another diet.

Inside Sustainable Change, every client receives:
• A clinical assessment, including obesity diagnosis where criteria are met
• A clinician‑designed care plan
• A structured resistance‑training programme
• Behaviour‑change support
• Ongoing delivery from PTs and coaches working within a regulated, clinician‑approved pathway

This is healthcare. This is evidence‑based. This is sustainable.

Current Project: Tough Mudder London West 2025 — UNICEF Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal

On 10 May 2025, our team will take on Tough Mudder London West to raise funds for UNICEF’s Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.

The humanitarian crisis has left thousands of children without access to food, clean water, medicine and safe shelter. UNICEF continues to deliver life‑saving support on the ground — and they need help more than ever.

Every donation contributes directly to protecting vulnerable children and restoring essential services.

Charity Skydive — Stroke Association

Our team organised a large‑scale charity skydive in Salisbury to raise funds for the UK Stroke Association, supporting stroke survivors and their families.

Supporting life‑changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Arthur’s Everest Challenge — £5,000 Raised

Our team climbed Edinburgh’s Arthur’s Seat 35.25 times — the equivalent of Mount Everest — to raise funds for Make‑A‑Wish UK. It took 48 hours, 4 hours of sleep, and a huge amount of determination.
